Luncheon
Lunch is served in the Great Hall, from 12.30 pm to 2.15 pm, Monday to Friday. There are several inexpensive dishes on the menu, including a vegetarian dish, each day. The prices shown include bread and butter and coffee.
The Members' Common Room is also available for lunch for members, Bar tenants and residents and their guests. A separate menu is served: please select the MCR from the buttons on the left of the screen for details.
Payment for lunch is by cash or credit card at the till on leaving. There are no account facilities available at lunchtime.
Dress: Respectable casual clothes may be worn. However, this does not include shorts, tee shirts or sleeveless vests, torn or patched jeans. Headgear is permitted only for medical or religious reasons.
Dinner
Dinner is served on selected nights during Dining Term and when there are Inn functions. The dates are set out in the Events calendar, together with any special dress requirements or timings. On ordinary dining nights, dress is lounge suits or equivalent for ladies, and dinner is at 6.30 for 7.00 pm. Mess service is employed.
There is a talk for about 15 minutes before dinner is served on most nights in Dining Term, to enable the students to complete their Qualifiying Sessions requirements. The talks are usually on topics of general interest, with a legal theme.

PLEASE NOTE: No smoking is permitted in the buildings within Lincoln’s Inn or in the doorways to these buildings. Smoking is permitted on the South Terrace in conjunction with the Members Common Room and on the North Lawn. The use of mobile telephones either for calls or texts is also not permitted during lunch or dinner in Hall.
