DESCRIPTION:Pupils are required by the Bar Standards Board to satisfactorily complete an advocacy training course within their first six months of pupillage.\nPupils’ must attend a preparation session and a residential weekend. The following is included during the course:\n\nWitness handling\nNarrative advocacy\nCase theory\nVideo reviews of performances\nOpening and closing speeches\n\nOnce the team has received BSB pupillage confirmation, pupils’ will be contacted to sign up to attend the Pupils’ Advocacy Course.\n
