Join us for our upcoming Equality, Diversity & Inclusion talk, “Social Mobility: Where to start, and where to find answers”

We have invited the following speakers to have an open discussion around improving social mobility in organisations:

  • Professor Anna Mountford-Zimdars: Anna is a Professor of Education and Joint Founder/Director of the Centre for Social Mobility at the University of Exeter.
  • Helen Mountfield KC: Helen is a renowned practitioner and academic expert in constitutional law, human rights and equality law, with particular experience in the education sector. She is currently Principal Tutor for racial inclusion at Mansfield College.
  • Chris Loweth: Director of Commercial, Rights and Business Affairs at BBC News. He is co-Chair of the Social Mobility sub-group at Lincoln’s Inn, and sits on the Inn’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee. Chris will be chairing this discussion.

This event is online only and open to anyone interested in building awareness on what we mean by socio-economic status and how we achieve social mobility, in particular lawyers who are involved in management, recruitment, EDI and career progression across the legal sector.
