JMC Careers Event: The Path to Pupillage

The Junior Members’ Committee would like to invite you to this careers event, aimed at those who have been called to the Bar and are seeking pupillage. Members of all Inns are welcome and encouraged to attend. Note that booking is essential.

During the first half of the evening, you will be introduced to a range of roles that chambers tend to find impressive from a panel of current/ex-employees. Following this, there will be an informal Q&A session with food and drink provided free of charge. Our speakers are:

  • Amy Woolfson: Research Assistant at the Law Commission and Kennedy Scholar
  • Meredith Daniel: Court of Appeal Judicial Assistant
  • Ravi Jackson: LLM in International Commercial Law from UCL
  • Joel Semakula and Cris Baciu: Legal Intern in Shell’s Global Litigation Team
  • Natasha Shotunde: County Court Advocate and Duty Adviser
  • Ani Mandagere: Tutor and Research Assistant at Keating Chambers
  • Imogen Sadler: Paralegal at Kingsley Napley LLP
  • Josh Yetman: FRU team member and representative

Timings:

5.30pm – Doors open

6 – 6.45 pm – Introductory Talks and Q &A

6.45 – 8.30 pm – Opportunity to talk to speakers individually at tables. Food and drinks will be served

9 pm – Event ends

Dress: casual or Lounge Suit
