A volunteer points out an item of interest in Great Hall to a visitor in a denim jacket and baseball cap. The wooden paneled walls have coats of arms painted on them.

The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, one of four Inns of Court, has been home to barristers and judges for over 600 years. Usually closed to the public, on Saturday 12 September visitors can explore its 11-acre estate free of charge, including Grade I & II listed buildings, a leading law library, Chapel, Great Hall, and Old Hall.

Free history talks will run every hour, in addition to two panel talks with barristers and an exhibition about the Inn. A self-guided tour route will be in operation and attendees are welcome to drop-in between 10:00 and 15:30 (last entry). Light refreshments will be available to purchase in the MCR Restaurant & Bar. The site will close at 16:00.
