At this Qualifying Session students will examine the Equality Act 2010, the Harman Report on bullying and harassment, and issues such as the gender pay gap.

Learning Aims: The aim of this qualifying session is for students to understand the key concepts of the Equality Act 2010 (direct and indirect discrimination, protected characteristics and victimisation). As well as how the Equality Act 2010 applies to both self-employed and employed barristers, and how it applies when engaging with professional and lay clients.
