‘Victorian Visionaries’ – Annual Chapel Concert and Reception

What: Victorian Visionaries – A celebration of the English Musical Renaissance in some of the finest choral works of the Nineteenth Century sung by the Lincoln’s Inn Choir, with musical direction from Nicholas Shaw. Featuring Mendelssohn’s Hear My Prayer (sometimes known as O for the Wings of the Dove), S.S. Wesley’s The Wilderness and Parry’s magisterial Blest Pair of Sirens as well as shorter works by their contemporaries. A drinks reception in Old Hall will follow the concert and is included in the ticket price.
