Thinking About Becoming a Barrister? A First‑Year Career Guide
This joint Inns of Court introductory session is designed for first‑year undergraduates who are curious about a career as a barrister.
In this session, we will explain what barristers do, the skills involved, and the training pathway from university onwards. We will also discuss the funding options for the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Bar Course. The event is ideal for students who are exploring their options early and want to learn more before making any decisions. Students at all levels are welcome to attend. Hear from the Outreach teams of all four Inns of Court and pupil barristers about their journey to the Bar.
This joint event is part of a series of events that aim to give an insight into the barrister profession.
