At this Qualifying Session, students will hear a lecture offering a not entirely impartial review of the changes the Courts and Tribunals Bill may bring for practitioners in the Crown Court, as well as an exploration of what is likely to remain unchanged.

Learning Aims: The aim of this Qualifying Session is to develop an understanding of the key proposed changes to the Crown Court under the Courts and Tribunals Bill, consider their practical impact on practitioners, identify what aspects of practice are likely to remain unchanged, and reflect on how future barristers can prepare for and adapt to these developments.
