A chaired panel discussion by barristers focusing on their lived experiences of the way their own and / or other’s protected characteristics have benefited and / or disadvantaged them in their education, professional lives or more widely, with a particular focus upon non-traditional routes to the Bar.

Learning Aims: At this qualifying session, students will develop a deeper understanding of how protected characteristics and EDI issues shape individual experiences and access to the Bar, particularly for those from non-traditional routes, and identify practical ways to educate themselves to demonstrate respect, awareness, and inclusivity.
