Into the Archives: The Admission of Gwyneth Bebb

In 1919, the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act enabled women to finally have a career at the Bar.

In celebration of International Women’s Day the latest video in our Into the Archive series looks at the membership papers from the archive relating to Gwyneth Bebb, (married name Thomson) who was one of the first women admitted to Lincoln’s Inn after the Act was passed.
