Call for volunteers – scholarships interviews

The Inn interviews hundreds of students for Bar Course and GDL Scholarships each year and the Scholarships Committee is always looking for volunteers to interview.

Interviewers are drawn from both self-employed and employed Bar, at all call levels, and from all areas of practice. Judicial and academic barrister interviewers are also welcome.

Dates for the Bar Course interviews in February 2026

It is essential that all interviewers have received recent fair recruitment training. This does not have to be provided through the Inn, but the Inn has training sessions coming up this autumn Wednesday 15 October and Tuesday 21 October.
