Lincoln’s Inn Anniversary Weekend Celebrations

The Anniversary Weekend will be a celebration of all the ways we can welcome you to the Inn. We hope the weekend provides the perfect opportunity for members who live at distance from the Inn, or who have fallen out of touch to re-engage and enjoy some of our marvelous hospitality.

The weekend will see the launch the latest digital versions of the Black Books, Afternoon Tea in the MCR Restaurant & Bar, a walk or bike ride to tour sites associated with our former Chaplain F D Maurice, who died 150 years ago on 1 April 1872. On Saturday evening we will host a black-tie dinner, where the focus will be on conversation, collegiality and, of course, superb food.

On Sunday morning, we are offering tours of the Inn, as well as Sunday Lunch after a service in Chapel with music to celebrate our anniversary.

Saturday 2 April

Afternoon Tea (MCR Restaurant & Bar)

Cost: £25.00 per person.

Timings: 2:30 – 4:30 pm.

Dress Code: Smart Casual.

Saturday Black Tie Dinner (Great Hall, Lincoln’s Inn)

Cost: £91.00 per person.

Timings: 7:00 – 10:30 pm.

Dress Code: Black Tie.

Sunday 3 April

Tours of the Inn (various locations)

Cost: Free but advanced booking is essential.

Tour 1: 10:00 -11:00 am.

Tour 2: 11:30 – 12:30 pm.

Dress Code: Smart Casual.

Sunday Lunch (Old Hall, Lincoln’s Inn)

Cost: £46.00 per person.

Timings: 1:00 – 2:30 pm.

Dress Code: Lounge Suits.

Members can now book tickets for themselves and guests via Eventbrite. Please note, no bookings will be taken over the phone or via email. The booking and cancellation deadline for all events taking place during the Inn’s Anniversary Weekend is Friday 25 March at 4:00 pm.
