Member Research Survey launched to shape the Inn’s future
Lincoln’s Inn has launched a member-wide research survey to help shape the Inn’s 2027–2030 strategy.
The survey aims to understand what matters most to members, whether the Inn is meeting their needs, and where there may be opportunities to adapt or improve. The findings will directly inform the development of the Inn’s four-year strategy.
Hearing views from across the whole membership will help ensure the Inn is relevant, inclusive and appealing to a broad and diverse professional community. We are particularly keen to hear from members who are less engaged at the moment, so that we can understand their experiences and perceptions.
The survey is being conducted on behalf of Lincoln’s Inn by Research by Design, an independent market research company. All responses will be anonymous and confidential, with analysis and reporting of aggregated findings managed entirely by Research by Design. At no point will individual views be associated with personal details.
Members will receive an email invitation on 6 May 2026 containing a personalised link to the survey, sent from [email protected] to the email address held on record.
All members are encouraged to take part – whether they are an Inn regular or have not been to an event for years. Every viewpoint is valued, and the insights will help shape the future of Lincoln’s Inn.
As a thank you for participation, members who complete the survey within the first two weeks will be entered into a prize draw to win either Garden Party tickets for themselves and three guests, or a £250 John Lewis voucher.
