Open Gardens 2025

Despite a stormy forecast, Lincoln’s Inn welcomed an impressive 921 visitors to its gardens on Saturday 7 June as part of the annual London Open Gardens Festival. With over 80% first-time visitors, the event proved to be a great success — rain and all!
Guests enjoyed a packed day of family-friendly activities. Highlights included guided garden tours led by our Head Gardener Miranda Kimberley, live performances from the Deansfield Primary School Choir, face painting, lawn games, and the chance to dress up in a barrister’s wig and gown for a fun photo moment with ‘Lincoln the Lion’.
A charity plant sale, staffed by Sophie and Dan from the Gardens Team and Joy, a regular volunteer in the gardens, raised additional donations for the Alzheimer’s Society, the Inn’s employee-nominated charity of the year. All entry proceeds went to the London Parks and Gardens Trust, helping to support and preserve London’s green spaces for future generations.
The day was made possible by the hard work of the Inn’s Gardens, Catering & Events, and Communications Teams. Thanks to the efforts and dedication of chefs, porters, wardens, cleaners, front-of-house staff, and volunteers, the Inn looked fantastic, and every visitor was warmly welcomed and well looked after as they explored the beautiful gardens.
Thank you to everyone who joined us – and to the many hands behind the scenes who helped make the day such a memorable one.
