Visits to the European and International Courts 2022
Students and pupils are invited to apply to join one of three subsidised visits to European and international courts in June and July. Applications close at 5pm on 27 April. This is most suitable for Student members, those who are pre-pupillage, and those in pupillage. Please submit your application by 5pm on Wednesday 27 April 2022.
During 2022 the Inn plans to visit the International Criminal Court at The Hague, and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg. For each of these visits, we spend two nights in the city and travel on the first and third days. In addition to the visit to the main court, we visit other related institutions:
Strasbourg: the European Court of Human Rights and Council of Europe
Luxembourg: the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Court of the European Free Trade Association
The Hague: the International Court of Justice and another international tribunal based in the city
You may apply for more than one trip. Please be advised that depending on demand you may be invited to attend only one of the trips.
There is a small fee of £75 for Lincoln’s Inn members, which covers travel and accommodation only. You will need to provide your own travel insurance.
