Listen to the Director of Membership and Education, Faye Appleton, and our panel discuss the various volunteering opportunities available at the Inn.

We were joined by Brian Nicholson KC (11 South Square Chambers), and Benchers Christopher Poole (joint head of New Court Chambers), Claire Palmer (5 Essex Chambers), and Dilpreet Dhanoa (Field Court Tax Chambers).

They discussed how volunteering has helped them give back while progressing in their careers — supporting professional growth, expanding professional networks, and building experience that, for some, led to becoming a Bencher of the Inn. The Membership and Education Team also provided practical guidance with clear steps on how to get started as a volunteer and make it work alongside different schedules, workloads and responsibilities.
