The Black Books Society presents a lecture by Nicholas Le Poidevin KC, who will consider the law in England in 1422, the date of Lincoln’s Inn’s earliest continuous records. He will address topics such as sources of the law, what were the subjects of litigation, and what areas of law touched people’s lives.

The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception.
