Diversity Dinner – Black History Month
Join us at the close of Black History Month 2024 as the Inn celebrates the occasion with a reception and dinner for members of all four Inns of Court and their guests.
Guests can enjoy an evening of delicious dishes celebrating cuisine from the Caribbean and Africa, with musical entertainment provided by the North-London based Pan Nation Steel Orchestra. Pan Nation is a steel band that provides a safe space for people to learn and grow together via steel pan music.
We are honoured to be joined by guest speaker, British Politician The Rt Hon. the Lord Boateng, who became the UK’s first person of African descent to serve in a British Cabinet when appointed as Chief Secretary to the Treasury in 2002.
The drinks reception will also feature an exhibition on prominent members of the Bar, past and present, of black heritage.
