At this qualifying session various barristers will explore how chambers approaches the process of selecting pupils, from application to final decision. Drawing on real examples, the speakers will offer insights into what chambers look for and how the selection process works in practice.

Learning Aims: The aim of this Qualifying Session is to give students a better understanding of the key stages of pupillage selection, including how applications are assessed, how shortlists are formed, and what criteria are used to make final decisions. They should also be aware of common pitfalls to avoid in applications and have a clearer picture of what pupillage involves within chambers.
