Learning Aims: The aim of this Qualifying Session is to provide an overview of how artificial intelligence works, how the bar can use it, and to explore some of its legal, ethical, and regulatory implications. Students will gain insight into current uses of AI in the legal sector, key legal risks such as privacy and data protection, and how AI is influencing the legal profession. The session will examine real-world use cases of AI in the legal sector and consider future challenges and opportunities at the intersection of AI and the law.
