Learning Outcomes: The aim of this Qualifying Session is for students to learn how to effectively work with expert evidence in criminal and civil cases. They will gain practical knowledge on how to identify when a expert opinion is needed, select the appropriate expert, review expert reports and prepare follow up questions, conduct productive conferences with experts, and prepare for calling and cross-examining expert witnesses in court.
