Life at the Bar: Career Progression on the Midland Circuit

The Lincoln’s Inn Midland Circuit Representatives invite you to their next event ‘Life at the Bar: Career Progression on the Midland Circuit’.

Join us for a panel talk discussing life at the Bar and the pathways to career progression on the Midland Circuit. Attendees will hear from local practitioners on their experience of working in the Midlands and their experience of progressing to Silk, Judicial appointments and building practice in your early career.

The panel will be chaired by our Midland Circuit Representatives, His Honour Judge Paul Burns and Eleanor Marsh (3PB).

We will be joined by Tom Schofield KC (No5 Barristers Chambers) who is a criminal and regulatory practitioner who took Silk this year. Also on the panel will be District Judge Jamal Jeffers, who was a Specialist Family Law barrister before becoming a full time judge, and previously sat on the Midland Circuit Social Mobility Committee.
