Pathway to Pupillage: Boosting your CV

Join us for a discussion on how to boost your application form or CV when applying for pupillage. All members of all four Inns in search of pupillage are welcome to join this event.

A panel of junior barristers will lead a discussion on which jobs and opportunities are available to those searching for pupillage to help build their experience for pupillage applications and interviews.

The panel will include:

  • Taz Aldeek, Pupil at the Crown Prosecution Service . Taz is a Lincoln’s Inn scholar and a YouTuber who supports aspiring lawyers through educational content that covers issues faced by those entering the profession.
  • Matthew Timm, Pupil at 42 Bedford Row. Matthew previously worked on the automated vehicles project at the Law Commission of England and Wales, whose report recommended new legislation for the safe introduction of self-driving cars. Matthew also spent some time in New Zealand where he provided support to the New Zealand Government’s counsel, worked for a specialist civil litigation firm and volunteered at Barnardos.

There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about applying for pupillage, in an informal setting.

The panel session will be followed by a Q&A.
