Pupils’ Preparation Session
Pupils are required by the Bar Standards Board to satisfactorily complete an advocacy training course within their first six months of pupillage.
Pupils’ must attend a preparation session and a residential weekend. The following is included during the course:
- Witness handling
- Narrative advocacy
- Case theory
- Video reviews of performances
- Opening and closing speeches
Once the team has received BSB pupillage confirmation, pupils’ will be contacted to sign up to attend the Pupils’ Advocacy Course.
