The Inns of Court Alliance for Women (ICAW) Workshop: Menopause
The Inns of Court Alliance for Women are holding a Menopause Workshop with contributions from leading legal and medical practitioners.
The talk will be an opportunity to hear from Dr Louise Newson, GP and renowned Menopause Specialist and educator, in discussion with The Hon. Mrs Justice Bacon DBE and Lyndsey de Mestre KC about the menopause, the variety of ways it can impact those at the Bar and in the Judiciary and how we might address its impacts.
The aim of this event is to both educate and progress the discussion about how we individually and collectively can address the impact of the menopause on the retention and progression of women in the law. The talk will be followed by a drinks reception, for those attending in person, to continue the discussion and networking.
