Train the Trainer
New advocacy tutors are trained annually so that we can expand the numbers of trainers in the team, increase diversity and maintain our high standards.
Based on the ethos of the importance of ‘the Bar teaching the Bar’, we train our members as Advocacy Tutors to teach on the pupils’ advocacy and NPP courses, giving junior members of the Bar the opportunity to benefit from the experience and expertise provided by their peers.
This course teaches the Hampel Method which is used on all Post-Call courses. The weekend will start at on the Friday evening and finish at Sunday lunchtime.
Who can train: Barristers of four years’ practice, Judges & Benchers
