Time
18:00 - 20:00

We would like to invite those who have experienced any of the following to an online evidence gathering workshop on Tuesday 6 May 2025:

If you:

  • have been treated differently on account of your race;
  • have experience of being treated differently on account of what is assumed to be your race whether it is or is not; and/or
  • have witnessed or observed the impact of another (or others) being treated differently because of their race (or assumed race);

at the Bar and in particular in relation to the Inn.

The aim of the workshop is to help inform the Inn of the issues and concerns our members have around race at the Bar and in the Inn specifically. The findings will shared anonymously, with the Inn’s EDI Committee in order to inform its work. They will be feed into the Inn’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Committee’s overall Action Plan and programme of activities moving forward.

Spaces are limited to encourage open conversations in an intimate and safe space, where attendees can confidently share their thoughts and needs. The event will take place online and involve some discussions as a group and some small workshops with facilitators.
