Countdown to Spring
As the days get longer, the nights get shorter and the weather gets warmer, we look forward to spring…
Join us each week throughout March as we celebrate the first signs of spring and count down to the Easter break.
Each week a new theme will be announced with top tips, recipes and ‘how to’ guides for baking, painting, creating and decorating. Some activities will feature competitions, judged by the Lincoln’s Inn team and our partners, with prizes given to the best entry.
The themes will be:
- Week beginning 1 March: Egg Painting*
- Week beginning 8 March: Simnel Cake*
- Week beginning 15 March: Hot Cross Buns*
- Week beginning 22 March: Palm Crosses
- Week beginning 29 March: Easter Table Centres
For our competition weeks*, to enter you will need to submit 2-3 photos of your creations to include:
- a bird’s eye view
- a close-up
- a cross section (for baked entries only)
Each entry will be judged on creativity and the overall appearance of the end product. Entries must be submitted to [email protected] by the relevant deadline. We encourage all our members, colleagues, and their family & friends to take part and be in with a chance of winning a £20 Amazon voucher.
