Charter for Black Talent

We are pleased to announce our support for the Charter for Black Talent in Finance and the Professions.  The aim of the Charter is to promote equality of opportunity for Black talent in business and the professions. We are wholly supportive of the Charter’s aims and the practical approach it takes to improving diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.  Please visit the Charter’s website to find out more about the Charter and how you and your chambers or employer can get involved.

Our support for the Charter is part of our ongoing work on equality, diversity and inclusion.  We are currently conducting some development work in this area and aim to publish further information, including an updated policy and action plan, on our Diversity & Inclusion page over the next few months.

In the meantime, we would like to highlight the videos from our EDI Forums last year, where our speakers and panellists had frank conversations on the subjects of “BAME, the Bar and Covid-19”, “Racial Equality: Recruitment and the Path Ahead”, and “The Equality Act: 10 Years On”.
