On your Marks…Get Set…Bake!
To celebrate a new season of the Great British Bake Off on TV and the beginning of Michaelmas Term, we are very proud to announce our first ever Great Lincoln’s Inn Bake Off!
The competition will run for four weeks from Monday 21 September to Wednesday 21 October and there will be weekly prizes as well as an overall ‘Best Baker’ prize. The ‘Best Baker’ award will be given to a participant who has entered at least two of the baking challenges.
Each week will have a different theme and all the entries will be judged by our fabulous team of Lincoln’s Inn chefs.
To enter you will need to submit the recipe you used and three photos:
- a bird’s eye view
- a close-up
- a cross section (to show the inside of your bake).
Each entry will be judged on the originality of the recipe, the evenness of bake and the overall appearance. We encourage all members, staff, and their families and friends to enter their best bakes to show off their culinary skills and win some prizes.
Our final weekly theme will be CAKE!
Our chefs have asked to see a cake big enough for 12 portions to be submitted by email to [email protected] by Monday 19 October at 5 pm.
