This Qualifying Session is a lecture of contrasting experiences and the advantages and disadvantages of the bar as a second career.

Themes: Preparation for Pupillage, Career Development and Wellbeing

Learning Outcomes: At the end of this Qualifying Session students will be able to:

·        Identify the challenges of starting a new career at the bar, later in life.

·        Recognising the importance of establishing a work-life balance and how to achieve that balance.
