At this qualifying session, speakers will identify and explore career development opportunities within the junior and independent bar. They will provide students with insights on how to build a successful practice by striking the right balance between specialisation and general practice, while weighing the pros and cons of each approach. The session will also address common sources of stress during the bar course, offering practical stress management techniques and strategies for seeking support. In addition, it will provide guidance on recognising and navigating professional challenges, with an emphasis on fostering a positive and resilient mindset.
