Criminal Advocacy Workshop
Students will be sent a Criminal adovcacy exercise a week prior to the session to prepare. Students will give submissions for up to 10 minutes each in groups and will receive feedback on their perfomance from experienced practitioners.

Materials and Preparation: Students will be sent an advocacy exercise a week before the event to prepare in advance of the session and will have 10 minutes to perform their exercise on the day. Students who have clearly not prepared will not be awarded a Qualifying Session.
Learning Outcomes:The aims of this Advocacy Qualifying Session are to provide students with a better knowledge of key strengths and weaknesses as an advocate. Students will have the opportunity to gain feedback from tutors and peers to enhance their advocacy skills. The workshop will focus on honing public speaking skills and gaining a better practice of Advocacy.
