Dinner followed by  debate.  The debaters will be selected by the debating club.  The motion will be confirmed nearer the time of the event

Materials and Preparation: No preparation required

Dress: Lounge suits & gowns

Guests: Members can bring up to three guests.

Benchers & Guests: £84.00

Barristers (Over 5 years call): £56.00

Barristers (5 years call & under): £31.75

Barristers Guest: £67.75

Student: £17  (£7 for Inn Scholars)

Student Guest: Guests are not permitted.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of this Qualifying Session students will be able to:

·        Identify the key arguments for and against the motion of the debate.

·        Appreciate how the arguments are deployed effectively.
