Improving Evidence Based Applications – Online Workshop
On Wednesday 16 October, the Inn is hosting an online workshop to help practising members improve their evidence based applications for advocates’ panel appointments (e.g. Attorney General’s civil panels, CPS and SFO panels in crime) and junior judicial posts (e.g. First Tier Tribunals, Deputy/District Judges, and Recorders).
The event will start with a short panel talk about top tips for evidence based applications. This will be followed by one-to-one review sessions by representatives of the Crown Prosecution Service, Government Legal Department and serving members of the full-time judiciary, all of whom have experience of assessing evidence-based applications.

Form Review Sessions: 18:30 – 20:00 (you will only be required to attend your allocated 25 minute session within this time period)
If you would like to attend, please note we a require a previous application or a two-page CV, to be reviewed by your assigned reviewer before the session. We will request this at least a week in advance of the event.
The deadline to sign up is Wednesday 9 October at 17:00.
Please note this is a free event but advance booking is essential. This event is only open to members who are currently practising at the Bar of England and Wales. This event is not open to student members and is not a qualifying session.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. This event is online only to allow for greater accessibility.
