Introductory Event for New Bar Students – London

At this Qualifying Session, students will be given an introduction to the Inn as well as an introduction to advocacy, identifying the basic requirements of good advocacy and providing tips on how to improve. This is an in-person event.

Timings:

3.30 pm – Registration in the Great Hall

4 pm – Introduction

8 pm – Finish

Learning Outcomes: At the end of this Qualifying Session students will be able to:

  • Explain the basic requirements and key aspects of good advocacy and its techniques.
  • Identify key principles of good advocacy and communications skills including the top tips for each of these, and also some common pitfalls.
