At this Qualifying Session, the speaker will explore key issues arising in the Chancery Division concerning death, focusing on situations where the court may choose to override the wishes of the deceased. This includes disputes over funeral arrangements, the forfeiture rule, and testamentary wishes, such as appointing administrators, claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, and validity.
