LGBTQ+ Members’ Social

Join us for a drop-in discussion and social event for our LGBTQ+ members and allies. This social is aimed at enabling members to meet other members and allies from the LGBTQ+ community.

The evening will begin with an informal discussion about experiences of being LGBTQ+ at the Bar. Anyone is welcome to join, and attendees are welcome to participate in the discussion or only listen and observe. The discussion will be followed by a social drinks reception in the MCR. You are welcome to attend any portion of the evening, or the evening as a whole.

This event is organised by the Inn’s LGBTQ+ Network. The LGBTQ+ Network is an informal, member-led group for the Inn’s LGBTQ+ community and allies. The Network’s mission is to create a supportive environment to connect, share experiences, and provide support and information. They promote equality, foster understanding, and champion the LGBTQ+ community both at the Inn and beyond.

We also encourage LGBTQ+ members and allies over 7 years Call to attend to make the diversity of the Inn’s practicing membership more visible for newer members.

Location: The Ashworth Centre and the MCR Bar and Restaurant

Discussion end: 18:30

Drinks reception: 18:30

End time: 20:30 (approximate)

No booking is required for this event. Drinks will be available to purchase at the bar in the MCR.
