Presentation Skills Workshop – PM Session
Hosted by the Actors Institute, this session will include: How to use vocal tone and rhythm to keep your audience listening, effective use of breath and projection to fill the space, use body-language, gesture and presence to influence & using storytelling to engage and persuade your audience. The training will consist of practical group exercises, hands on practice and opportunities for presentation and feedback.

Materials and Preparation: Students will be required to prepare a short speech to present on the day. You will not need to provide any accompanying visuals or data.
Learning Outcomes:The aim of the Presentation Skills Qualifying Session is to support students in improving their advocacy skills and provide students with the tools to be able to deliver a persuasive presentation. During the session, students will collect feedback and be able to apply it to their presentations.
