The Lincoln’s Inn Circuit Masters and Representatives are delighted to announce their first event of 2021.
A panel of distinguished judicial members will lead a discussion about their experience of remote hearings before the floor is opened up to questions from the audience. This is an opportunity to discuss remote hearings in an informal setting and also meet the Inn’s Circuit Masters and Representatives and other members of the Inn on circuit.
Our panel of distinguished speakers are:
Her Honour Judge Christine Bispham
His Honour Judge Barry Cotter QC
His Honour Judge Steven Coupland
Employment Judge Livesey
The panel will be followed by a Q&A session. You will be asked to submit your questions for the panel when you register for the event. Once the pre-submitted questions have been answered, it will also be possible to ask questions during the event too.
At the end of the panel presentation there will be a competition for the story of most embarrassing/disastrous remote hearing with a prize supplied by the Inn!
There will also be a half hour opportunity in a breakout room for members of each Circuit to share an online drink and opportunity to chat with the Masters and Representatives of the Circuits.
This event is open to all members of the Inn, but specifically aimed at members on Circuit.
Please note this is a free event but booking via Eventbrite is essential. This event is not a qualifying session.
