Speak Up Session
Students will prepare and perform a 5-minute oral presentation on any non-legal topic of personal interest to them. This could a hobby or sport, a current news item or any other subject in which you have a particular interest. Students will receive feedback from tutors and students in the room.

Materials and Preparation:Students will be required to prepare a 5 minute presentation on a topic of their choice to present on the day. You will not need to provide any accompanying visuals or data.
Learning Outcomes: The aims of this Advocacy Qualifying Session is to provide students with a better knowledge of key strengths and weaknesses as an advocate. Students will have the opportunity to gain feedback from tutors and peers to enhance their advocacy skills. The workshop will focus on honing public speaking skills and gaining a better practice of Advocacy.
