Understanding Status Workshop at the National Theatre
On Wednesday 11 May the Inn will be holding a workshop on Understanding Status at the National Theatre.
The workshop will be run by Theatreworks, the National Theatre’s communications-based training programme, that draws on techniques used by actors and directors in the rehearsal room to encourage confident and creative communication by stretching the voice, the body and the imagination.
This workshop aims to:
- give an understanding of the effects of status and of the unspoken dynamics between groups of people.
- allow participants to observe and experience the use of status in verbal and non-verbal communication.
- show participants how to influence others in positions that are both more senior and more junior to the participants’ own.
The cost of this event is £60 per person. There are discounted tickets (£40 per person) for junior members (0-5 Call) at legally aided sets.
